At Softrate, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains our approach to data collection and usage in our application, Softrate ToDo - Do It Today. Our core philosophy is that your data belongs exclusively to you.

We designed our application to be completely offline-first. This means:

• Local Storage: All your tasks, schedules, repeats, history, and preferences are stored locally securely on your own device using SQLite and built-in local storage engines.
• No Cloud Accounts: We do not ask you to create an account, nor do we sync your tasks to any external cloud, database, or remote server.
• Local Notifications: All task alerts and scheduled reminders are processed locally on your device's operating system. No notification data is sent to external servers to trigger these alerts.

2. Information We Collect

Since your task data remains exclusively on your device, we do not collect, read, or harvest any personal information or task data.

However, depending on your device's settings and the app stores (such as Google Play or Apple App Store), our app may collect fundamental, anonymized telemetry or crash logs (e.g., if the app crashes, your OS may send an automatic report). This data contains no personally identifiable information (PII) or task contents and is used exclusively for fixing bugs and improving software stability.

3. Permissions We Request

To provide core features, the application may request certain device permissions:

• Notifications: Required strictly to alert you about your scheduled tasks.

4. Third-Party Services

Because the app runs locally, we do not share your data with advertisers, tracking networks, or third-party CRM entities. The app operates as an independent sandbox on your phone.

5. Your Rights and Control

Because your data is entirely controlled by your device, you have complete authority over it. You can permanently delete all task data at any point simply by uninstalling the application or clearing its cache and storage via your device settings.

We may update our Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect structural application updates. We encourage you to review this page periodically for any changes. Any updates will be effective immediately once published here.
